Sunny Day in Wellington Another fine, pleasant day was experienced in Wellington yesterday, although It was rather cloudy at times during the afternoon. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 56.3 degrees and tlie maximum during the day 63.3 degrees. There was a continuation of fine and sunny weather in Palmerston North. Brilliant sunshine and a moderate northerly wind prevailed at Masterton. A frost of six degrees was registered in the morning. The weather in Wanganui yesterday was hazy, bracing and calm. A moderate freshening north-east wind and cloudy, threatening weather were experienced at Auckland. The barometer had fallen to 30.05 in. The weather at Christchurch was sunny and pleasant, with a fresh E.N.E. breeze. The barometer fell from 30.07 to 29.89. Tlie maximum temperature was 61.1 degrees.

Tite weather was tine but overcast and threatening al Dunedin, with a light breeze from tlie north-east. Tlie maximum temperature was 56 degrees. The barometer, which fell 30 points after midnight on Tuesday, registered 30.05 last evening..
