Manawatu to Challenge Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, May 2. The management committee of the Manawatu Rugby Union has decided, to send a team to Canterbury this season In quest of the Ranfurly Shield. The committee has decided to issue a special challenge to the Canterbury Rugby Union for a match to be played on August 5.
