ST. MARK’S PARISH
Annual Meeting And Social At the annual meeting of St. Mark’s church parishioners held this week, the vicar, the Rev. N. F. E. Robertshawe. presided over a large attendance. The annual report and statement of accounts were adopted. Outlining the work of the year, the vicar referred to the satisfactory position of the parish organisations, and paid a tribute to the assistance he had received since his arrival in the Dominion from Mr. W. J. Gaudin, who was retiring from the oilice of vicar’s churchwarden, but who was retaining his position on the church trustee board, the vestry, and the school committee. The following officers were elected: — Vicar’s churchwarden, Mr. G. W. Bastrop. parishioners’ churchwarden, Mr. G. A. Kennedy (re-elected); vestry, Messrs. A E Boyes, W. J. Gaudin, E. J. Hampton, W. H. Madeley, R. E. Rawmsley, H. Sieversen, A. J. 8. White, Dr. Gordon Kemp (re-elected), and Messrs. Chambers and Williams; auditors, Messrs. W. Haworth and T. Harrower; church school committee, the vicar, Mrs. A. Mack, Miss ' Dewis, Messrs. W. H. Madeley, W- J.
Gaudin. G. W. Barltrop, A. J. S. White, aud Egginton. Later a pleasant social hour was spent. Songs were contributed by Mrs. Mitchell, Miss Gaudin, Messrs. Matthews. G. A. Kennedy, and the vicar.
