GREAT UNDERTAKING
Railway Electrification (British Official Wireless.) (Received May 2, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, May 1. A further stage of the Southern Railways great scheme of electrification was opened to-day when the first electric train ran from London beyond Bickley to St Mary’s Cray. The electrification is to be carried on to Sevenoaks at n cost of £500.000.
