Youth Association’s Competition Mr. Frank Milner is to be - tbe speaker at the Youth Hostel Association ' of New Zealand's- annual meeting, to be held at th" Jellieoe Hall on Wednesday'evening. May 16. lie is sfieaking on "The Virtues of Tramping.” and after his speech, tramping choruses are to be sung. A silver cup has been offered to the association, to be called the Dobson Cup. for the best tramping chorus, to be comi peted for by clubs affiliated to the association. Tiie cup has been offered on condition tiiat the majority of the Youth Hostel Association elubs take part. The regulations for the competition are to be drawn up next Thursday. In future years, it is hoped that tramping clubs may send their teams to compete from Auckland. Wellington, and Dunedin. These places are ail contemplating forming llicir own Youth "Intel 'Association regional councils II i« fitting that Sir Arthur Hobson’s memory should be commemorated thus, as he believed a good tramping chorus added to the joy o£ wailin®.
