STANDING BY LEAGUE
British Policy Made Clear (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, April 14. The lovalty of the British Government to the League of Nations and its ideals was emphasised in a declaration made at a national conference in defence of the League by* the PostmasterGeneral. Sir Kingsley’ Wood. He said: “I come here officially as a member of the present National Administration and I assert again, if it is necessary to. do so. that the National Government stand firmly by the League as the cornerstone of their policy.”
