Three Premises Broken Into at Week-end • MINOR HAULS SECURED Three Wellington premises were broken into during the week-end. The owners were:— Messrs. Robert Hannah and Co., Ltd., Dixon Street. line Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Company, Kaiwarra. Star Stores, 61 Coutts Street, Kilbirnie. Two men were arrested in connection with tlie entry into Hannah's premises, and appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning. The premises of the Farmers’ Co-

operative Distributing Company were entered some time on Sunday night, access being gained by a window at the rear. The thieves secured some personal effects, the property of members of the staff.

No money was taken at the Star Store, which is believed to have been broken into some time on Saturday night or early Sunday morning, but a quantity of groceries and tobacco was removed.
