The new links are to be called the Cornfoot Park Links. They adjoin the old Cnstlecliff links. The president! Air. 11. R. Dawson, congratulated the club on the wonderful progress that had been made in such a short time. He stressed the fact that, loyalty' was the life-blood of any chib. He asked members to have patience with things as they were until they had time to get the links in good order. Mr. G. S. Gordon, president of the Wanganui club, and Mr. A. Elliot, president of the Seafield chub, also spoke. Mixed foursomes were played over 13 holes, Mr. R. R. Dawson and Mrs. C. C. Smith were fir«U with 61. net. Mr. S. Powdrell and Mrs. R. C. Cook were second with 62 net,
