Tlie wife of Wallisch, a .Socialist leader, who was hanged after the riots, and a woman friend are being tried on a charge of high treason because they distributed cigarettes amt food to the Schutzbund during fighting. MANY DISMISSALS Municipal Officials (Received April 8, 5.5 p.m.) Vienna, April 7. Twelve hundred salaried officials of the municipality were dismissed without notice or any reason being given on April 1 in pursuance of a Government decree. Some of tlie dismissed believe that they were told to go because they are Jews.
