DROWNED IN WELL
Tragedy at Invercargill By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, April 8. A tragedy occurred this evening when Frederick Longman, 58 years of age, a painter, married, residing at Waikiwi, slipped and fell head first doWn a well on his property. The well contained three feet of water, and when Mr. Longman was extricated a few minutes later by his son ttnd a neighbour he was dead. The well was five feet deep and two feet in diameter.
