Tlie King has approved the appointment of Sir Josiah Crosby, British Minister at Panama, to be his Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at Bangkok, in succession to Mr. E. F. Former. Sir Josiah Crosby began his diplomatic career iu Siam, and inis previously served in Bangkok as 1 ice-Consul in 1911 and acting Consul-General. 191920.
