PIGEON RACING

Wellington Homing Society The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society flew the third young bird Hock race from Waiourn. a distance of 134 miles by airline. Eighty-live pigeons, representing 13 lofts. were liberated by the railway officials in good weather. The birds evidently met with adverse conditions on the iournev. and slow time was recorded.
