New Zealand Coins
Sir, —Just a word in praise of our.new coins. Being a lover of New Zealand birds, I am sure we could have nothing better. There is just one little thing I cannot understand. Why is the florin disfigured on the tail side with a line right across it? Is it meant to be the horizon or the perch off which the kiwi lias fallen? —I am, etc., OSCAR. Palmerston North, March 20.
