Mrs. Peggy Lane is staying with Mrs. F. D. Burnett, Karori. Mrs. T. Brook, The Terrace, is staying at the Central Hotel. Captain and Mrs. Montague Polley, Auckland, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. W. E. Cathie, Hataitai, is on a visit to Auckland. Miss Queenie Johnson, of Hamilton, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. F. Melody, Wanganui, is at present visiting Wellington. Mrs. W. Clark and Miss J. Morris, of Greytown, are visiting Auckland. Mrs. G. Sutherland, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Jock Laidlaw, Dunedin, is staying with Mrs. Kenneth Mason, Karori. Miss Annette Johnson, Wanganui, is is visiting Wellington. Miss Cecilia Pbarazyn, Dannevirke, is visiting Wanganui. Mrs. T. McKibbin, Tinakori Hoad, has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Miss Esther Denniston, Lower Hutt, who has been in New Plymouth, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. E. Buckrell, Hawera, are on a holiday tour ol Wellington, Napier, and Taupo. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Monro and Miss Marguerite Monro, Blenheim, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. H. F. Norman, Tinakori Road, is at present the guest of Mrs. J. Hislop, Roslyn, Dunedin. Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Burnett, Karori. have returned from a visit to Mrs. John Hunt at Pembroke. Mrs. Alister L. Taylor, Takaka, is the guest of Er. and Mrs. L. G. Austin, Brooklyn. Mrs. A. C. Ward has returned to Wimbleton, Hawke’s Bay, from Wanganui. Miss K. Cummingham. of New Plymouth, who has been visiting friends in Masterton, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burt, Snr., Featherston, are spending a holiday at Island Bay, Wellington. Miss E. Card, Featherston, is staying with Mr. and Mrs. R. G. McKenzie, Ballance. Mr. and Mrs. E. Coates, Kai Iwi, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Allen, Collegiate School, Wanganui. Mrs. W. T. Boyd, Pahiatua, is a visitor to Wellington, and is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. W. Cornelius. Mrs. T. H. Finney, Masterton, is staying with Mrs. Ina Allan, Mount Victoria. On Tuesday afternoon a number of friends said farewell to Mrs. E. Dailey and Miss Dailey in Wanganui prior to their leaving for England. Miss Harcourt, Hawkestone Street, who with Mrs. Vogel has been on a three-weeks’ motoring tour, has returned to Wellington. Mrs? and Miss Page May, London, who were travelling in New Zealand last month, are returning to Auckland by the Mpnowai on April 3. The Misses Van Staveren,, Wellington, returned to Auckland 'by the Niagara on Monday from a visit to England. Mrs. W. Shirer has returned to her home in Wellington after a holiday spent with her daughter, Mrs. A. JI. Bisley, Hamilton. Miss Elsa London, Napier, has returned home after spending a few days with Mrs. W. Buxton, Upland Road, Kelburn. Miss Margaret Madden and Miss Dot Baron, of Christchurch, arrived yesterday morning on a visit to Wellington. ’ Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Kiely, who have been living at the Hotel Cecil, leave by the Tamaroa on April 3 for a trip to England. They will also visit their daughter in Kenya Colony. Mrs. Edgar Hazlett, Dunedin, who is staying with her sister, Mrs. Percival James, Bolton Street, will leave on her return south to-morrow evening. Mrs. C. H. M. Hawk, Miss Marjorie Hawk, and Miss Margaret Beale, Tatxranga, are on a six weeks’ motor tour, visiting Wellington and the South Island. The Rev. W. Bramwell Scott, and Mrs. Scott, of Trinity Methodist Church, who have been the guests of Mr. R. McDonald Scott, of Wajpukurau, Hawke’s Bay, will return by the Napier express on Friday. Mrs. Charles Izard, of Wellington, who has recently returned from a visit to England, has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Izard in Wanganui, before leaving for a short visit to New Plymouth. Mrs. Izard will spend a few days with Mrs. G. F. McGrath in Wanganui on her return.
