The Famous Drums of the Gordon Highlanders, returned to General Sir Ian Hamilton by General Hindenburg in Germany a few week ago, were received back by the 2nd Battalion Gordon Highlanders at a reglmental parade at Aldershot. Among those present were the three drummers who deposited them at the Hotel de Ville, Ostend in 1914. Photograph shows General Sir Ian Hamilton taking the salute at the march-past after the ceremony. Colonel McClintoch is seen with the General.
