The Welsh Society held its annual picnic at Seatoun Park on Saturday, when sports events were keenly enjoyed. Votes of thanks and cheers were given to Messrs. Hugh Owen, Noel Evans, Rees-Jones, and others who had donated prizes and endeavoured to make the day enjoyed by nil those present. Britain’s toy-making industry has now grown to such a size that the annual output is valued at £42,000,000. There are nearly 600 railway stations for passengers within 10 miles of Charing Cross, London.
