Milk for School Children
Sir. —L as t year the Smith Family, with the co-operation of the .School Medical .Service and the Headmasters’ Association, initiated a scheme for the supply of milk to school children (luring the mid-terffifc Groups of children suffering from (IP bility or malnutrition received their allowance —a half-pint per day. Very definite evidence proved that the recipients benefited thereby, and there was no doubt about the supply being appreciated. The Headmasters’ Association commends this scheme to your readers and trusts that there will be generous support to enable it to be continued this year.— I am, etc., J. K. EDIE, President.
