(2) The judges’ decision must be final. (3) The first bird satisfying the judges will obtain the reward, and no others. (4) No birds to be returnable to sender. (5) Birds from any place in N.Z. are eligible. (6) All expenses of delivery must be paid by the sender. (7) Information must be given of date and time and where the birds were shot. ATOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a special meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Thursday, the 15th day of March, 1934, the following resolution was passed:—That the Wellington City Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 and their respective Amendments, the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act 1932-33 and the Order-in-Council under the last-mentioned Act, dated the 12th day of February 1934, intituled “Wellington City Loans Conversion Order (No. 2) 1934,” gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette of the 15th day of February 1934, No. 10, at pages 374-6, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act and authority in that behalf it enabling and with the approval of the Local Government Loans Board given under the hand of the Chairman of that Board by letter addressed to the Town Clerk of the Wellington City Council, dated the 12th day of December 1933, doth ' hereby resolve by way of special resolution as follows:—I. That the said Council issue new securities in conversion of the existing securities of the Loans set out in' the Schedule hereto being the Loans affected by the Wellington City Loans Conversion Order No. 2 1934. and that such issue of new securities bp known as “The Wellington City Conversion Loan No. 2 1934.” 2. That the new* securities be Fifty-eight (58) del entures of Eleven thousand one hundred and nine pounds two shillings and a penny (£11,109/2/1) each covering Fifty-eight (58) half-yearly payments of principal and interest, the first of which is to be paid on the First day of November 1934, and tlie last of which is to be paid on the First day of May, 1963, the principal sum owing on the First day of May, 1934, in respect of the Loans set out in the Schedule hereto being Three hunndred and sixty-eight thousand three hundred and seventy-six pounds sixteen shillings and sevenpence £368,376/16/7) and the interest being calculated with half-yearly rests at Four and a quarter per centum (4 : }%). 3. That the existing debentures maturing on the First day of May, 1934, in respect of which dissent has not been signified in writing will not entitle the holders to any principal or interest except in the case of Debenture Number 9 of the Wellington City Mount Victoria Tunnel Loan 1929 which is payable on the 20th day of June 1934. where principal and interest in respect of the said debenture shall be payable to the extent only of Three thousand and ninety-five pounds seventeen shillings and fivepcnce (£3095/17/5) and such debenture shall be altered accordingly and initialled by the City Treasurer. 4. That the security for the payments secured by the said debentures be a special rate of Thirty onehundredths of a penny (30/100d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of the City of Wellington.
