OBITUARY
Mr. Hector Graham According to a “Dominion” Special Service message, the death occurred yesterday morning of Mr. Hector Graham, of 75 Essex Street, Masterton. The late Mr. Graham was born at Invergorden, Rosshire, Scotland, 72 years ago. and was a son of the late Mr. Hector Graham, of “Coilemore.” After receiving his education at the parish school at Rosskeen, the late Mr. Graham worked for some time on his father’s farm, before commencing in business on his own account as butcher and cattle dealer. He went to Canada in 1912, whore he married. lie and his wife proceeded to New Zealand in the same year, and for seven years lie followed farming pursuits in the Wairarapa, before settling in Masterton. die is survived by a widow and one sister, Mrs. D. Urquhart, of Tain, Scotland. Mr. T. Pike The death occurred suddenly at Blenheim yesterday afternoon through heart failure of Mr. Thom Pike, a well-known Blenheim farmer, and brother of Mr. W. D. Pike, of the Wellington Education Board, states a Press Association message. Mr. Pike belonged to a pioneer Marlborough family, and was widely respected in local body and farming circles.
