Huia’s Annual Meeting There was a good attendance of members at the fifteenth annual general meeting of the Iluia Hoekey Club held recently. The chairman. Mr, J. L. McAlister, welcomed old and new members and expressed the hope that the forthcoming season would be a successful one for the club. After a number of new members were elected, the report ami balance-sheet were discussed and adopted. The report showed that, the club had a successful season, the senior A team were runners-up in the championship, this being their first year in senior A hockey since 1923. The junior A team, though not being in the first division, came out on top of the second division championship. The intermediates came third in their championship. The congratulations of the club were extended to Messrs. IL Martin, H. Brown, M. J. Cooper, O. Wheatley. IL Millen, D. Chambers, A. Fergusson, T. McDonnell, W Dare, S. Wilson, all of the senior A team, C. Dixon. P>. Cook, and P. Rough of the intermediate teams who gained representative honours last season. It was mentioned that the Kiwi Club. Masterton. would be paying the Iluia Club a return visit at Easter, and the whole-hearted co-operation of all members is called for in order that the club may return the Kiwi Club's generosity. Mr. L. S. P. Butcher, coach of the senior A team, was heartily thanked for his generous services to the club last season.
