Sir, —In your issue of March 10, town and country news column, I notice you state that a Christchurch firm manufacturing dry batteries, etc., is the first of its kind in New Zealand. I have to refute this statement, as an industry for the manufacture of dry cell batteries has been in existence in Levin for the last four years.—l am, etc., LIV-IN-LITE. Leyin, March 14.
