Old Records Unearthed.— While removing the north-west corner stone of the old Exchange Building yesterday workmen uncovered a cavity beneath. Roofed by two copper plates, with etched inscriptions, it contained a glass-stoppered “Winchester” holding papers and coins. The discovery is referred to in our news columns.
