MISSING FROM HOMES

Wellington Girls Located in Auckland Dominion Special Service. Auckland, January 31. Two girls, aged 17 and 15, who were reported to have been missing from their homes in Wellington since January 22, were located by the police in Auckland to-day. On receipt of messages from the Wellington police it was found that the girls, who are friends, had left their homes on January 22 and had started to walk to Auckland. They were given lifts in vehicles, however, and arrived in the city lust Sunday. They communicated with Major Annie Gordon, of the Salvation Army, who found them accommodation in a city boardinghouse. One of the girls bad obtained employment, which she will commence tomorrow, while the other has the promise of a position.
