Two Championship Gaines Two championship water polo matches were played at Te Aro Baths yesterday afternoon. The firs! game, between Wellington and Worser Bay. was well contested, and although "Wellington won by 4 goals to nil, Worser Bay was by no means outclassed. Goals for the winners were obtained by Watkiuson (3) and Gillespie. Mr. W. H. Gerrie was referee. Maranui A and Maranui R teams provided a keen, interesting contest, the A. team winning by 2 goals to nil. D Plank scored both goals. Air. W. H. Gerrie was referee.
