HARBOUR EXCURSION

IVell over 500 passengers boarded the Eastbourne ferry steamer Muritai yesterday, when she made the Anal harbour excursion for this season.

About 460 people joined the steamer at Wellington, and more than 100 embarked at Miramar Wharf. From Miramar the Muritai proceeded to the Heads, a delightfully pleasant trip being made in warm sunshine and calm seas. Day’s Bay was the next place of call, and the excursionists were given an hour there, the time ashore being spent in swimming and sun-bathing. Leaving Day’s Bay the Muritai made her return trip, coining via Soipes Island and Miramar, and reached the 'Wellington wharf about 4 p.m.
