Mr. R. G. Palmer, LL.B., Waverley, returned by the Wanganella yesterday after six months abroad. Mr. and Mrs. J. McGuire arrived on the Wanganella yesterday morning from Australia. Mr. G. McGregor returned to New Zealand on the Wanganella from Sydney yesterday. Mr. R. E. Tolhurst, accompanied by Mrs. Tolhurst, returned on the Wanganella yesterday after a tour of Australia.. Mr. A. W. Page, of the Bank of New Zealand, Sydney, arrived on the Wanganella yesterday on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mr. K. B. Docker, a well-known business man of Sydney,. and son of Judge Docker, arrived in Wellington yesterday. Mr. G. Vincent, formerly of Christchurch, returned on holiday to New Zealand on the Wanganella from Sydney yesterday. Mr. J. B. Crammond, a well-known Australian business man, arrived in Wellington on the Watiganella yesterday on a pleasure visit to New Zealand. Mr. J. Crutchley, of Sydney, arrived in Wellington on the Wanganella yesterday accompanied by Mrs, Crhtchley. They will make a holiday tour of New Zealand. Mr. and Mrs. W. Wills, of Bronte, Sydney, will make a tour of New Zealand after visiting the Sounds on the Wanganella, which arrived in Wellington yesterday morning. Mr. J. J. ’Wicks, representative of the Cement Marketing Company, London, is an arrival on the Wanganella on a visit to New Zealand. Mr. Wicks will disembark at Wellington on his return from the Sounds trip. Mr. F. H. Coventry, a Wellington artist, who has exhibited work in the Rojyil Academy, and has made a name for himself as a commercial poster artist in the Old Country, arrived in Wellington by the Wanganella on a visit to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Coventry, Wellington. He will remain in the Dominion for several months. Mr. F. S. Stearns, president of a firm of manufacturing pharmacists of Detroit, United States of America, and Mrs. Stearns arrived in Wellington on the Wanganella from ■ Sydney yesterday. They are on a world tour’, visiting the company’s various branches and agencies. Mr. and Mrs. Stearns will spend Christmas at Rotorua, leaving for Auckland in time to catch the Monterey on the 29th.
