BURNS CLUB

Final Meeting of Year The monthly meeting of the Wellington Burns Club was held in Nimmo’k Concert Hall, and was presided over by Mr. Donald MacFarlane. The meeting wasithe last for the year/ The programme was arranged by Mr. Johannes Andersen, the following being the perfarmers: Mrs. A. Wainwright, Miss Muriel Miss Norris, Miss Peggy Jones, Mr. W. Bentley, Vai. Jones. Duets were-sung by Miss Peggy Jones and Mr. Vai. Jones, Misses Rae Burns and Muriel Hitchings. and Mrs. A. Wainwright and Mr. Vai. Jones. Two violin solos, were played by Miss Hope Flaws. Mrs. Wakelin was the accompanist.

Miss Hazel Evans, Christchurch, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Robert Caughley, Mariri Road, and. will spend Christmas with Mrs. Caughley and her family at Titahi Bay.
