Sydney, December 13.
In a boxing contest at the Stadium for the heavyweight title of New South Wales, Jock McDonald gained a decision on a foul in the twelfth round over Pietro Spagnola. At the Leichhardt Stadium, Jimmy Purcell obtained a points decision over the Canadian, Billy Petrie, in a twelveround lightweight bout.
