(Gen--3:17-24, Roms. 5:12, 1 let, L.-4, Eph. 2:11-12. Eph. 4:l<-18, Cols. 1 :21 Cols. 2:13, 1 Thess. 4:13, Isa. 49:20, etc.). (b) “IN CHRIST”—The natural hopeless state changed—“now in CHRIST JESUS ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the .bloid of Christ” (Eph. 2:13)-only one way whereby the natural IX ADAM” state can be changed to tlie “IN ’CHRIST” state—that “way appointed by God—belief of the Gospel followed by baptism (immersion) in water— baptism a symbol of the death of the “old man ADAM and tlie birth of the “new man CHRlST—then hopelessness changed to hopefulness—“lf ye b® CHRIST’S, then are ye Abraham s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Gals. 3:27-29, see also Eph. 2:11-13.
