Restoration of Wage Cuts AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, December 14. Having resolved by a small majority last month to restore I lie 10 per cent, cut. to its labourers and abolish the rationing of outside work, the City Council, at a special meeting, adopted a report by its finance committee postponing the action indefinitely, and, lu any ease, for the remainder of the current financial year. The committee was unanimous that the cuts should be restored and rationing abolished as soon as possible. ’Whether anything could be done next year it was impossible to say.,
