R.S.A. FINAL DANCE

Johnsonville Gathering An enjoyable evening was spent by all who were present at the third and last dance to be held by the R.S.A. in the Parish Hall, Johnsonville, on Thursday evening. The hall was attractively decorated in red, white and blue streamers, with small coloured electric lights strung across the ceiling. The Arcadian Orchestra played, and the ladies of the committee, Mesdames Washington and Myers, provided an excellent supper. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr. L. Myers. During the evening there were many novelty dances, including two Monte Carlo’s. Mr. F. Jacobs, president, spoke on behalf of the committee, and apologised for the absence of Captain Hewitt, who was unable to attend as he had met with an accident. After thanking all who had made the R.S.A. functions such a success, he extended every good wish and sincerely hoped they would meet again at the next season’s dances. Among those present were: —Messrs. F. Jacobs (patron), A. Symons (chairman), C. Reeves (secretary), W. Richards, C. Adams, A. Harrison, W. Reeve, S. Chalmers, L. Myers and A. J.
