TE ARO SCHOOL
Annual Parents’ Day An enjoyable afternoon was spent by parents and friends of the children of Te Aro Main School on Wednesday, when parents’ day was held. The weather was ideal, and for an hour an entertainment was given by the children of the school in the playground. Displays of folk dancing and,, massed drill were excellently performed. A choir of young children from standards II and 111 sang several choruses, and a small play from “Alice in Wonderland” was ano’ther enjoyable item. On the following afternoon the infant school annual demonstration concert was held. Choruses, dances and elocutionary items were well done, and thoroughly enjoyed by a large gathering of parents and friends.
