No Agreement Reached AUSTRALIA’S POSITION It was ascertained last night that New Zealand has entered into no agreement with Australia, as to the quantity of apples to be exported this season. The attitude • the New Zealand Fruitgrowers’ Federation takes up is that - when Australian grading standards are brought on to a. parity with those obtaining here, Dominion growers will be only too willing to enter into an agreement , with the Commonwealth regard’ng the quantities which are to be exported from both countries to the London market. “We are of the opinion,” said one authority, “that when Australia grades to our standards there will not be too much going Home.” He estimated that New Zealand would export. between 1,300,000 and 1,400,000 cases of apples to all markets this season. ‘ i
