Final Tournament Held ZONE WINNERS COMPETE In the final tournament of the Wellington Public Schools’ Lawn Tennis Association, held on the Wellington club’s courts yesterday, O. Bold) Hutt Central School, last year’s champion, won the senior boys’ singles and K. McNeill, Petone Convrint, won the senior girls’ singles. These two players will hold the Melody Cups for the ensuing year. The senior boys’ doubles was won by Boniface and Watts, the girls’ doubles by Forrester and Hassell, and the mixed by J. Dent and Bold. The Ferguson Cup for the school winning most senior events goes to Hutt Central. The junior boy champion is J. Wilson, Brooklyn, who beat McKenzie in a WellContested final that produced.the best tennis of the tournament. M. Thorne, Seatbun, Won the junior girls’ singles. All the players in this tournament were finalists in the competitions held in the various zones.
