WEEK-END WEATHER
Pleasant Outdoor Conditions Saturday in Wellington was rather cloudy but otherwise fine, with a fresh to stroug southerly breeze. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 59.2 degrees. The weather was fine yesterday morning but rather cloudy, clearing however in the afternoon. which was gloriously sunny. The temperature at 9 a.m. was 56.5 degrees aud at 4 p.m. 62.2 degrees. There was a continuation of a moderate southerly wind and wet weather in Auckland on Saturday, frequent showers being experienced during the morning and afternoon with improved conditions,in the evening. Yesterday a light easterly wind was blowing and ideal summer conditions prevailed. The barometer, rising since Saturday afternoon. registered 30.1 Oin. . Fine weather was experienced in Christchurch during the week-end. On Saturday the sun shone intermittently and a rather cold southerly wind was blowing in the afternoon. Yesterday was very sunny with a light easterly breeze.
A fine week-end was experienced in Dunedin. There was a light southwest wind yesterday' morning, but it later changed to the north-east, and the sky became overcast. The barometer fell slightly during the day, but steadied again at 30.35 in.
