OFFICER FAREWELLED
Under-Secretary of Mines Appreciation of the good service rendered by the retiring Under-Secretary of Mines, Mr. A. 11. Kimbell, and of the cordial relationship existing between him and his staff was expressed at a farewell gathering at the Department of Mines yesterday. On behalf of the staff, the Minister of Mines, the Hon. C. B. Macmillan presented Mr. Kimbell with a gold cigarette lighter and a handbag for Mrs. Kimbell.
