Miss A. C. Kennedy and Miss S. Kennedy were recent guests at Wanaka Hotel, Pembroke. Mrs. C. A. Tidy, Marton, has returned from a visit to Mrs. Frank Armstrong. Akitio. Mrs. Wilfred Howell has returned to Timaru after a short visit to Mrs. Eric Marchant, Lower Hutt. Miss E. Phillips, 'Wellington, is spending a holiday at The Portage, Kenepuru Sound. Mrs. A. Fitzherbert, Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. Charles Morice, Eccleston Hill. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Barron, St. John’s Hill, .'Wanganui, are visiting 'Auckland. Mr. J. J. Adams and Miss Laura Adams have returned to Wanganui from Dunedin.
Mrs. G. P. Avery and Miss Dorothy Avery, Auckland, are on a motor trip to 'Wellington. Misses C. and M. Taylor, Dunedin, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Taylor, Wanganui. Mrs. J. Hutton Kidd, who has been on a motor trip through the South Island, has returned to Greytown. Miss Ngarie Balfour, who has been visiting Dunedin, has returned to Greytown.
