IN ROYAL SERVICE

During Three Reigns (Reuter —Special to "The Dominion.”) London, October 12. The oldest woman servant at Buckingham Palace, Miss Harriet Winn, has retired on reaching the age limit of seventy. Miss Winn, who has been in the Royal service for 10 years, was received by the Queen on her retirement. Her Majesty presented Miss Winu with a souvenir of her long service during three reigns. After being housemaid at the Palace for many years, Miss' Winn has more recently been in charge, of the linen room. She holds the Queen Victoria Second Jubilee brooch, the long service medal given by the King, and the Coronation brooches both of the King and of King Edward. Among her dearest possessions is a black brooch studded with pearls, which was given to her mother by Queen Victoria in recognition of her service as a housemaid. - /
