SHIPPING CONTRACT
South Africa and Italy (Received November 7, 9.30 p.m.) Cape Town, November 7. 'The shipping contract recently signed between South Africa and an Italian line provides for four distinct services. Eighteen steamers are participating, seven oil-burning and elevon coal-burning. It. is estimated they will exnend in 300 calls at South African ports for dues, stores, coal, and agents’ commission tlie full amount of the subsidy.
