It will be recalled that Signor Mussolini’s first, marriage “drive.” made through tbe bachelor tax. devoted _ to maVrnity hospitals, proved such a crushing burden that many bachelors sought refuge in matrimony. Signor Mussolini bas nominated four generals and four admirals to the Senate, removing them from the active list, thus speeding up promotion ioi juniors. _____
