Election Under New System Sydney. November 6. Of the first fifteen New South Wales Legislative Councillors elected under the new system, ten are Government sunporters, four are Labourites, and one is an Independent. The success of the four Labour candidates—Messrs. Martin. Concannon and King (State Labour) and Higgins (Federal Labour)—was a surprise.
