Keeper of Gaming-house

Betting material which proved, according to the police, that the accused was a member of a bookmakers’ association, was produced in court this morning when Charles Frederick Fearon, aged 30 years, was charged with using a house in Beckenham as a common gaming house. He pleaded guilty and was fined £lOO by Dlr. E. D. Mosley, S.M. . The police stated that Fearon had been convicted and lined a similar amount seven years ago. The magistrate remarked, after looking at the accused’s list: “Among the betting material produced there are oue or two interesting names. This is very interesting.” The Chief Detective: Yes, I noticed that. ■
