Smith Family’s Campaign GOODFELLOWSHIP BONDS Interviewed yesterday in connection with the campaign which he is launching to provide Christmas cheer to many women and children in dire need, Mr. Smith told a “Dominion” reporter that his plans are now ready to put into execution. One of the main activities is the issue of ‘'Goodfellowship Bonds” which Mr. Smith is issuing in denominations of 2/6 each. A prospectus has been prepared, copy of which will be forwarded on application to the Smith Family Joyspreaders’ , Another novel’scheme, whereby boys ■aud girls can help their little schoolfellows who are in need, is the institution of Mr. Smith’s Junior Stamp Club. Forms are issued containing thirty blank spaces the size of an ordinary postage stamp, aud the object. is to affix an unused penny stamp into each space. For every completed form returned to Mr. Smith, of the Smith Family, a Goodfellowship Bond will be issued. This novel scheme will appeal particularly to boys and girls, giving them an opportunity to help Mr. Smith iu his good work. On Saturday, December 16, Mr. Smith is bolding a monster children’s Christmas party in the Town’ Hall. Conjurers, acrobats, clowns, a ventriloquist, a Punch and Judy, children’s ballets, and a host of wonderful entertainment will be provided for the young guests. There will be dancing for the elder children, while games will be arranged for the tiny tols, including a slide and sand-pit. The party will be plain and fancy dress, prizes being awarded for the most original costumes. The' children will be divided into three groups. 4 to S. S to 12. and 12 to 16 years of age. There will be a grand march, in which everyone will participate. For tlie evening of the same date Mr. Smith is planning an "International Joy Night,” particulars of which will be announced at an early date. Donations for Xmas Cheer.
