MUSICAL EVENING

Hospital Patients Entertained

The commercial travellers, who are closing down their season’s concerts, gave a very enjoyable musical evening to the patients in the women’s ward, Victoria Hospital. The orchestra rendered some bright and popular airs. The items presented were: Mrs. Woodward and Mrs. Andrews, solos; Mr. Gladding, songs; Mr. Someplayer, violin solo; Mrs. Andrews, song; Mrs. Woodward, song. Miss Joyce Woodward was accompanist throughout the evening. Thanks were conveyed by Sister Lees to the party. The commercial travellers had been very generous with their concerts to the Victoria Hospital patients throughout the winter months and they had been greatly appreciated. Special thanks were extended to Mrs. Woodward, Mrs. Andrews and Miss Joyce Woodward by Mr. Cedric Campbell. *
