New Station Building and Railway Yards. —This plan shows the site of Wellington's new railway station, the contract for which has been let to the Fletcher Construction Company at a cost of £339,173. Beyond the station building and platforms is a simplified lay-out of the sidings and yards, which extend north to point welt past the engine, shed.
