’Ware “Tombstone Votes” AN ELECTION SLOGAN New York, November 2. “Watch out for tombstone votes” is becoming the New York mayoralty election slogan as election day draws near. . It is revealed that the names of nt least five men who have been dead from six months to 50 years are appearing among the lists of sponsors of various candidates. The race is so keen now that, efforts are being miide to utilise every political strategem. There is a concerted move to bring "floaters” into the city for the purpose of voting. Prosecuting agencies (ire being overtaxed by investigating nb leged frauds, the police reporting thousands of suspected cases. Many arrests have already been made.
