Magistrate Gives Warning By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, November 4. Pleading guilty to being intoxicated while in charge of a lorry. Edmund .Sheehan was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment. He said he had been working late, and that after having supper at a piecart was on his way home. The magistrate issued a warning that in future cases he would consider making a minimum penalty of £3O.
