BULLER BY-ELECTION

No Nominee by Miners By Telegram).—Press Association Greyinouth, November 5. At a meeting of the West Coast Miners’ Council and officials of the Miners’' National Council held yesterday it was decided to abandon the proposals to nominate a candidate-for tlie Buller by-election in opposition to’Mr. P. C. Webb, and recommended that all affiliated organisations should co-oper-ate with a view to placing a suitable candidate in the field at the general election.
