M.C.C. ELEVEN IN INDIA
Calcutta, November 2. Tlie Bengal Cricket Association has nominated Major Nayudu as captain of India’s Tost teams against the M.C.C. touring team. It is regarded as certain that the Control Board will agree to this choice. There are to be three Tests—at Bombay, Calcutta, and Madras. In reply to the M.C.C. score of 402 for seven wickets (declared), the Punjab Governor's Eleven has made 253 for eight wickets (Nayudu 116; Langridge four for 63 and Nichols three for 77).
