REUNION & THANKSGIVING
Vivian Street Baptist Church The morning and evening worship at the Vivian Street Baptist Church to-mor-row will take the form of reunion and thanksgiving services. A special feature will he the singing by a choir composed largely of old and past members, some of whom have celebrated their jubilee in the service of the church. In the evening there will be a Service of Witness, when, following the historic procedure and practice of the Baptist Church, the ordinance of Believers’ Baptism will be observed. After this Act of Witness the Rev. L. J. Boulton Smith will deliver his message on “Believers’ Baptism and its Value in the Twentieth Century.” This service will conclude with a full Communion, to which all members and friends of the church, past and present, are invited. During .these services the following anthems will be rendered: “The Te Deum,” “O Be Joyful, King of Kings,” and “Daughter of Zion.” This reunion is also the occasion of the annual thanksoffering in which members and adherents of the church participate. . These sen'ices will be continued on Wednesday evening, taking the form of a social gathering in the school hall, where there will be a musical programme and brief speeches. Following the supper, family worship will be conducted by the pastor. In order to ensure the attendance of some of the older and outlying members, motor transport is being provided as far as possible-
